A British man hopes that he can beat the record for Minecraft's longest running game.
Joe Kelly, of Cheltenham, played for 35 hours, 35 minutes and 35 seconds, bringing in PS1,800 for cancer research.
Martin Fornleitner, Austria, set the record for 24 hours and 10 minutes in 2011.
Minecraft is about creating structures using blocks, exploring new worlds and participating in combat.
The title has sold more than 54 million copies worldwide.
In the year 2000, Microsoft bought Mojang, the studio behind it, for $2.5bn (PS1.5bn).
Mr Kelly who owns a film company and is a voice actor has played the game since it came out in the year 2010. He usually plays for just a few hours each week.
"Staying awake wasn't too bad - I did the whole thing without any caffeine," he told the BBC.
"There were no stimulants except for sugar and stubbornness."
Mr. Freunde Kelly, who live streamed the entire game on YouTube, added that the stunt had taken its toll on his hands.
"My back and shoulders weren't hurting, nor did my shoulders ache. The most problematic thing was my fingers.
"They hurt so badly simply from holding the keyboard and mouse for so long.
"Every small break I took I was stretching my fingers."
Mr Kelly and his girlfriend, Sarah Vallance, are now in the process of sending evidence of the feat to the Guinness World Records.
He doesn't plan to rest from the game.
"I introduced my girlfriend to Minecraft and we play together," he said.
" It's a thing we like to do together. I'm not averse to gaming."
