Minecraft is among the most popular games across multiple platforms, and it will not have any non-fungible tokens, or NFTs. Mojang, the developer announced on Wednesday in a blog post that it will not allow Minecraft NFTs.

"To ensure that Minecraft players enjoy an enjoyable and safe experience, blockchain technologies are not allowed to be used inside our Minecraft client and server applications, nor may they be used to create NFTs that are associated with any in-game content, including worlds, personal items, skins or other mods," Mojang said.

According Mojang, there have been NFTs made by companies connected to Minecraft. However Mojang has declared that these tokens aren't all-inclusive and create a "scenario of the haves and the not-so-haves." Mojang also expressed concerns about instances of fraud and artificially inflated prices for NFTs. Blaster music

NFTs are still not completely accepted by the videogame industry. However, there have been some success stories that didn’t last due to the crypto winter. Experts believe NFTs will become the norm in gaming when someone finds the right method to implement them.
