Turtle WoW Is The Best Private Server I Ever Played On Heres Why

So, let me begin by giving you a brief overview of my WoW play experience over the years.

I was just 8 years old when I started playing Warcraft 3 on Battle.net. Here we go again I was 8 years old when World of Warcraft was released. I was completely astonished when I first heard of it. A world... of Warcraft? Imagine a young child falling in love and eager to experience a whole new world. It was insane.

I started playing on private servers, seeing as my parents were greatly against putting money into games. "Gigafun' servers were very popular. Level 255, custom OP gear, Hyjal leveling zone? Crazy. Over the following years, I've grown accustomed to the private server scene. I've been to many servers, most of which you have probably never heard of: Mongos, Deffenders, Twinstars, Ruby WoW, and so on. Some of them are bigger than others. I have been a GM in my 14- and 15-year-old years.

Then I forgot all about WoW and haven't played it in a while. I was still playing Warcraft 3 on BNet (until they released the piece of stinky dogshit that is called Reforged, don't even let me start on that...), and so my WoW "career" kind of ended, faded into oblivion as they say.

Last year, I returned. I played Classic WoW with a high-pop server. I only bought a month worth of game time. I was able, before I quit, to level my mage up to level 40. I didn't like the state of the game, which had a lot bots and gold sellers (let's just say gold cartels), and I hated the way they were run. It was very difficult.

I decided to play again a few weeks ago. I was ready to start something new. I didn't want the TBC to launch. No. At that moment, I knew that the high pop server that I was on was dead. I knew that this fate would meet the next high pop server that I would be interested in playing at.

So I decided to, once again, look at the private server scene. Vanilla was what I wanted. I found vanilla. I found a more powerful version of vanilla. A Vanilla with a capital V. With custom lore-friendly material, including new races, new areas, and soon, with balanced class. And mainly, with a great community. You know the feeling when you jump into something and you're not really sure what to expect, how to act, what to do to perform? After starting out on the server, you're already in a Newcomers guild and boy, people are EAGER to help. You ask a question, you get an answer. It's as simple as that.

The key to any MMORPG is the community. I can't overstate this point. It's incredible to me that I was able, without social interaction, to play the game. There is casual RP, you can play warmode (perma kill), turtle mode (10.5xp rates), and warmode (1 perma vip on)), and you can level up your character however you want. The emphasis the devs give on the leveling experience is amazing, it's fun, it's everything you ever hoped for.

Turtle WoW is a RP/PVE server. However, you have the option to go warmode like I did. The experience becomes PVP. You can RP your own way to 60 in one the hardcore RP guilds or you could RP casually as I did. And I mean... It's fun. It's totally random and it just happens.

This is why I encourage you to give it a try. As someone who just started playing a few weeks ago, this is it. This is the WoW experience your heart has been longing for.
