Minecraft Map of WoW Stormwind Has Blizzard Impressed

There are plenty of Minecraft maps that are blocky versions of your most loved games, from Elden Ring to Mario Kart. One of the most impressive games we've seen is being developed and it's all about World of Warcraft - in fact, it's so amazing that even Blizzard itself has complimented it.

Yunatahel is a YouTuber who makes a lot of World of Warcraft videos. He also recreates Stormwind in Minecraft which is an MMO game. Stormwind is also known as Stormwing City, the capital of the Stormwind region and the largest settlement of humans in Azeroth, is also known as Stormwing City. The city's name is derived from the sudden squalls which can be observed around the city due to the leyline pattern.

Although the Minecraft build is still in the process The video shows a remarkable level of detail and craftsmanship. Each structure is adorned with a beautiful tiled roof, the cobbled walkways look almost real and the lighting effects add the feeling of life to the area as well. The area is home to a myriad of shops, waterways and churches, and we cannot wait to explore it.

It's just so amazing, even the official Blizzard account in French for Warcraft has praised the project by saying that they "can't wait" to see the final product.

We don't know when the map will be released at this time, but we recommend following Yunatahel on Twitter and YouTube to see if there's interest in exploring the area once it's done. We'd also wager it wouldn't be too long until modders could add in quests however we're going ahead a bit.
