Minecraft Announces Lightyear Collaboration DLC Availability Now

A Minecraft DLC inspired by Lightyear by Pixar offers new content, including Buzz's origin story. The latest Minecraft blog post described the Lightyear DLC as an "blocky intergalactic adventure," that will have five missions. These missions allow players to combat enemies using a variety of tools, face hostile environments, and fly a variety of aircraft to avoid obstacles.

"In the Lightyear DLC, you'll can play through Buzz's origin story and help Buzz navigate an alien planet following a crash landing that was a disaster," a part of the post says. The Lightyear DLC will also come with the free Lightyear-themed Character Creator. It's currently not available on Nintendo Switch, but the blog stated that it would be soon.
