From the creators of the classic Tribal Wars game, InnoGames released Forge of Empires in 2012, a 2D browser-based strategy game, which was also made available to iOS and Android two and three years after, respectively. It’s time to experience history all over again by ruling a territory through various stages of human civilization. You are going to establish your own city from a small village during the Stone Age and develop it into a mighty empire during the modern times.

Become a king or a lord if you have the best strategy, diplomacy, and military to make a mark in history as you dominate the playing field in different times. You will be conquering other cities to expand your empire and challenge other players to win in battles. Additionally, you will get valuable resources that you can use to build your empire once you lead it from the humble beginning during the old days to the modern days.

You will definitely enjoy playing Forge of Empires if you're a big fan of online strategy games. However, FoE need to know the significance of a well-planned city in order to play the game effectively and have its full potential. Grow and manufacture your resources to support your inhabitants and keep your troops that will protect your territory or take down other settlements close to you.

Forge Points are also important in order to move your empire forward by means of research. Utilize them well as you explore new technologies, trade your goods, or level up the Great Buildings. If you run out of them, you may wait for another hour when you get replenishment of one Forge Point or buy using coins or Diamonds in case you are in a big hurry. Get all 10 Forge Points and you will stop receiving them so you have to use them in your quests, particularly when doing research for new technologies.

To tell the truth, I'm not into strategy games since I favor casual and puzzle games if I need a few minutes off from my busy schedule. However, since the game is fairly different from other strategy games that I am aware of, I was a little curious with it. Thus I chose to give it a shot and see for myself how good it is to keep on playing or just give it up and proceed to other games.
