Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7, 1963 in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a family of faith with loving and dedicated parents. He is the oldest of three sons who was born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her divine grace on her son from an early age.

His brother, Reverend Ken is the renowned pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston, Texas Church and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council, and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which is home to several world-class gospel artists.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon decided to follow in her father's footsteps of sharing the Word of God to the world. COFI's five partners all have a common objective: to improve living standards and improve the standard of living in the least developed areas.

COFI's umbrella includes the InnerCity Mission ICM (ICM) and the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation /TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation and the Bible For All Mission.
